Annual wreath hanging sponsored by the Isle of Wight Events Committee
The Isle of Wight County's Wreath Hanging and Tree Lighting ceremony was the highlight of the annual event that took place on the front lawn of Isle of Wight's Courthouse. The tree for this year's event was grown at the Zuni Tree and Alpaca Farm in Isle of Wight County and the tree decorations were made by the county's 4H Clubs. Both the Carrollton Woman's Club as well as the Woman's Club of Windsor hung the wreaths for the event. Master of Ceremonies was Stan Clark, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, Newport District of Isle of Wight County.
Isle of Wight students Will Griffin and Tes Sabin, sang "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" at the event. Tes is the daughter of Stephanie Sabin owner of the clothing store
